While working at WashU, I was tasked covering a summer event for young women interested in business. I had the opportunity to interview and film mentors, students, and professors to hear what their insight was on this new program. The video was also used as promotional material for the program the following year. I had fun combining b-roll with impactful quotes from the students.
Big Heart Tea
As part of my internship with HEC, I did many features for startup companies in the St. Louis area. These videos are shorter versions of full profile pieces with added captions for social media use. Here is one of my favorite pieces about a new tea company.
Shakespeare At Olin
For the Olin School of Business, the annual Shakespeare at Olin festival is a major event. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, the event was forced to go virtual. As part of the Marketing & Communications Team, I was tasked with creating animated sequences as well as stitching the whole piece together. Although it seemed daunting at first, this quickly became one of my favorite projects because of the creative freedom I had when crafting this. It was a plus to receive so many compliments from fellow staff.
